Lego have been teasing this one for weeks, but it’s been the worst kept secret among fans, as we all knew this is what was coming. Thankfully, after all the wait, it’s spectacular. Set 75192 – Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon.
It’s also REALLY expensive, clocking in at £649 in the UK and $799 in the USA, the 7,541 pieces of the biggest Lego set ever absolutely do not come cheap (although 8.6p/10.c per piece isn’t too bad). It’s available for VIPs on September 14th and October 1st for everyone else. Becoming a VIP is free, and there’s some good points to be had on this one if you signup before you buy it.
Lego will give you a special box to carry it home in, because it’s too big for their yellow bags…
But enough of that, what does it look like?
Just look at that thing!
It measures over 8” (21cm) high, 33” (84cm) long and 22” (56cm) wide – so who knows where you’re going to put it. You’ll need a big space far away from small children.
It comes 7 minifigures, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia and C-3PO from the classic trilogy, and Older Han Solo, Rey and Finn from the new trilogy. It also comes with two deflector dishes, so you can go for the classic round or the new square style.
The premium in the piece count over the original UCS Falcon seems to have been used to create a much more detailed interior, as you can see in the photos above.
Lego also released a designer video which gives you the full lowdown…
Will you be carrying this home in a few weeks? Will you get one for us?
Here’s the entire Lego press release…
